Quinty is a young street dog who was struck by a car. She ran until she collapsed in someone's back yard. Quinty was taken in by SALDEA. She was brought to our friends at La Casa de los Animales, because they are a skilled rehabilitation center. Quinty was healed from her injuries, from malnutrition, and parasites. And then we discovered she was pregnant! She delivered eight gorgeous puppies on Friday, October 2. The puppies have velvety fur in a highly unusual tabby pattern that you normally see on kittens.
We are raising funds to cover Quinty's rehabilitation expenses, her maternal care expenses, plus costs to feed, vaccinate, and sterilize the family of nine.
Quinty and her pups are an example of how we collaborate with other organizations to accomplish big things. We are a small group, but when we partner with Casa, we can do so much more for the benefit of animals. 100% of donations go directly to the care and feeding of Quinty and her pups.
