Yesterday the 13/10/2018 Quinton Bezuidenthout played in a Golden Oldies Rugby match for a charity event. During the Rugby match he accidentally knocked into a team players knee with his eye. In the process Quinton fractured 3 places in his face (His forehead above his eyebrow, his eye socket and his sinus bone). The fracture is causing damage to his vision and he needs to get surgery as soon as possible as his fracture could permanently damage his vision and some serious infection can start. Quinton does not have a medical aid and the state hospital has a very long waiting list and by the time he could get assistance the damage could already be done. The doctor advised us that the operation would cost about R150 000 or more.
I feel so extremely blessed with our family and friends support thus far and we are not ones to ask for assistance, but have come to realise this is a task greater than what we can handle alone.
Any prayers and donations will deeply be appreciated.
