Quincy Hawks Baseball Spring Training Fundraiser

The Quincy University Hawks baseball team has been invited to a renowned tournament this upcoming spring in central Florida. This is such a big deal for our local college baseball team as it allows many of our players to be exposed to major league scouts and play against some of the best teams in the nation. This tournament is known as the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational and each spring over 200 teams are invited to play in this prestigious tournament.

As a life time lover of all things baseball and a huge supporter of my local college baseball team, the Quincy University Hawks, I am taking it upon my self to host this fundraiser and help my favorite local team make the trip to Florida to participate in one of the most renowned spring baseball tournaments in the nation. We are currently awaiting the schedule to be posted on February 15th, 2017 so we have plenty of time to get the funds raised so that our team can attend!

Unfortunately, the athletic department at QU does not have the funds to spend the entire team down to play so we must raise these funds in order to pay for the entry fee, transportation to and from the tournament, lodging for our 20+ players on the roster, meals and reserve cash in case any emergencies were to arise.

This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for many of the players on our Quincy Hawk's baseball team and I hope we can make this a reality for them! Any thing that you have to donate to help out this outstanding team of young men will not be a dollar wasted. It will be a dollar well spent to help these young stars compete at a level once only dreamed of!
