Quilt n’ Thyme

My name is Joshua Steigman and I am attempting to raise money to buy my parents quilt shop from them so they can retire.

Quilt n' Thyme Sew and Vac is a small quilt shop I helped my parents start eight years ago in Corning, Ca. After getting married and moving out of Corning my father took over the day to day operations of the store. Recently some serious medical issues have arisen and my parents are in need of passing on the ownership of the quilt shop ASAP. Being a sole proprietorship, they have significant personal finances tied up in the business and need to recoup their retirement funds. I am trying to raise enough money to buy the shop from them and allow them to focus on the family medical issues that have come up. My father Dan has been a pastor for over 38 years and is still currently pastoring a church in Corning. The quilt shop has been more than a business, it has been a place of help and healing in our community and we would like it to continue having the positive influence that it has had up to this point.  Any help would be appreciated and the gratitude we have for your assistance is infinite.
