Social Network Funding Request (Network for small businesses and displaced workers)    Hello:   I would like to reach out to you regarding a venture I plan to launch.  It is my belief this venture will solve existing problems for small businesses and/or displaced workers. Quiet Room is designed as a social network which matches individuals into successful, professionally rewarding relationships, with a focus on forming successful small businesses and entrepreneurs.  Many social networking websites are out there like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter etc. The difference in these websites and Quiet Room is in terms of the facilities of interaction and connection, as well as reduction of costs for small business startup by means of virtual offices.  The proposed social networking website will differ from existing websites, as it will provide every individual a platform to create his own professional portfolio, business needs, virtual office and proposed venture within a database of professionals with the same interests.  Matching inventors with engineers, fashion designers with manufacturers, painters with administrators, all with funding sources.  Quiet Room will serve as a one-stop- shop for future entrepreneurs and current small business owners. Quiet Room differs from many existing social networks in the following ways:Serves as a "Match.com" function for those who would like to freelance their talents and professional skillsCreates a Virtual Office for members without the expense of traditional officesAllows individuals to post jobs, events, forums etc., store documents, document approval, in one location It is my hope by reaching out to you to create an app (similar to the existing website) is the opportunity to reach members of this specific target market.  In addition, I would like to grow this venture into and organization which will inspire as well as provide a service.  Given the current unemployment rate and economic crisis, there are unfortunately many displaced highly skilled workers. Finding myself in this situation over a year ago, I was determined to provide a service which will create opportunities for individuals such as myself.  Although searching diligently, I was unable to locate a network in which my skills could be advertised and cross-referenced with business needs simultaneously.  Furthermore, it is my belief that a large problem with small businesses and entrepreneurs face is support.  A shadowing effort, if you will that will provide business consulting services, financial management, tech support and other services needed to ensure a successful and fulfilling business for the vast amount of displaced persons. In order to obtain this company growth and needed services, I have developed a detailed Business Plan outlining a specific approach to develop this venture into the “Out-Of-The Box” solution, I feel it can be.  Moreover, investors and/business partners are needed.  A partnership that could spark a platform for individual re-invention that is needed at cross-roads their career.
