Campaign Story
The Queen Lozikeyi Academy is a professional soccer team for ladies
based in Bulawayo. QLA empowers young women professionals in sport in Bulawayo and the surrounding environs. It is one of the only 2 teams in the City of Kings
and Queens competing in the Zimbabwe Women's Super League. The team is the pride of the people as it is
named after the iconic Matabele Queen who led the nation into battle
against colonialism after the disappearance of King Lobengula in 1893. Queen Lozikeyi remained regent of the Nation leading forces into battle. Today she is one of the most iconic female legends in the City. Her works and name leaves on.
The raised funds will help with preparation costs for matches training costs , camping costs, referee fees and other needed equipment. Raised funds will add on to other sponsorship commitments from other stakeholders.
