Hi there! My name is Kerri and I'm seeking your help for my sister's beautiful family and her son Benjamin, a sweet 11 year old boy with cerebral palsy.
Ben was born with Von Willebrand disease, a hereditary blood-clotting disorder, which ended up leading to his cerebral palsy. Benjamin is unable to crawl, sit, walk or talk, and he can't even eat without a feeding tube. He suffers from myoclonic serizures, tonic seizures (petit mal), tonic-clonic seizures (grand mal). This makes him completely dependent on everyone around him.
Benjamin is fully aware of his surroundings. He LOVES to go outside and go on car rides. Sadly their current situation makes outings nearly impossible: outings are difficult due to lack of proper transportation. The vehicle that they have is not very suitable for their growing boy. They need a new vehicle with a lift, that can hold a wheelchair easily and is suitable for a family of four.
Ben is getting so big that it is becoming difficult for his mom and dad to be able to lift him out of bed. Getting him into the bath is a two-person job because of him growing, and he gets so slippery that it is difficult to get him out of the bath when he is done. Ben absolutely loves bathtime. He would be a complete fish if he could!
According to their insurance company, Ben isn't heavy enough to get financial help towards a lift, which is why I decided to raise money this way. Benjamin is such an amazing little ray of sunshine with so much love to give. With your help, he can live the better and easier life that he deserves.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart. ♥

Ben’s mom in HospitalUpdate posted by Kerri Timm at 03:19 pm
hey guys. Just a quick update that Ben’s mom has been admitted into ICU. Now more then ever, I need help to spread the word of this fundraiser. Lifting and moving Ben was becoming difficult before, now she could definitely use the help of the lifts while she recovers. Our
