Quality of life for elderly disabled couple

Elderly couple in their late 60's one disabled are living in a home that is in desrepair. Help from local council is not forthcoming especially for the help they need.

Their quality of life is diminished as their house has the following problems..old draughty single glazed windows. Towels are used on the inside to catch confensation water and also rain water from obe of the windows during heavy rain.

A past bathroom leak has left a bowed ceiling. The floorboards have holes in them that have caused falls. The rear patio door is faulty and does not shut properly, so is insecure. The guttering has cracks and rainwater runs down the side of walls.

The cost is around £7000 for the esaintail repairs to include windows and the ceiling repairs. I'm paying some money towards the repairs £2000 and will do some of the work to save money.

I was applying for greendeal funding but that has been stopped by the government.
