Qalandia Checkpoint Kids

Between Ramallah and jerusalem, stands in the middle a Checkpoint called qalandia. Qalandia is the name of the refugees Camp where the check point is located by. Its probably the worst checkpoit ever where you need to wait for hours to get checked by authorities to enter the holy city of jerusalem. While people are waiting there are so many poor kids selling cds, napkens, fruits, dolls, etc while skipping school. Why do they do that? They do it to go home with two or three hard earned dollars to buy some food for their families. Its a bad view when you see 7 and 8 and 9 years old kids begging for money all day under the sun to get some bread. These kids should be in school, like any other kid on the planet. I am working on helping the families of these kids, by raising money for them so their kids will go to school and be able to do something with their lives instead of wasting it on "Qalandia" begging drivers for 5 cents and 10 cents.
