Pursuing My Dreams

     Hello everyone,

            Let me first start by introducing myself. My name is Joseph, I currently reside in Pratt KS, a small town in the center of the United States. I  have 2 kids who look up to me, and I help guide them on the daily path's to success. My kids are 4, and 6. My 6 year old daughter has found something she really enjoys doing, which happens to be acting. She is currently attending Pratt Community College during a summer acting program for a story called Peter Pan with kids and adults of varying ages and she loves it. I am 29 years old, and it so happens that acting was my number 1 interests my whole life, but when kids are born, you are apt to take a back seat to a lot of things, our goals being 1 of them.

            My goal: To raise enough money to go to college, specifically, the New York Film Academy in Burbank California (the tip of Los Angelas), to both complete a lifelong dream, and to give my daughter more inspiration, hope, and courage to continue doing what she loves doing at the moment. I believe that if she see's me doing something she likes doing now, she will never be discouraged, but isntead strive to be like her daddy. I plan to attend this 3 year course plus room and board. I of course will provide my family their food and amenities by working part time nights while going to school full time during the day. My secondary goal, to complete the program, obtain an agent, get into lots of Auditions, grab a major or minor role in films, and begin my career.             Reward: I know this site requires no reward, but for helping me achieve this goal to attend this school, I will post grades, update you guys with day to day activities, what I am learning, what goes on in the schools, take pictures, of both the schools, and the city, and at the end of it all, I hope to be able to send each backer with a completed short movie / film which is required for graduation. I will provide as much as I possibly can as allowed by the school. Anyone in the California location I may treat to a dinner somewhere as well so you can get to know me, and get to ask me questions or whatever you may want to do as my way of saying thanks to anyone in the hollywook, L.A., Burbank area's.

            Now you guys are asking, well how much is it going to take to complete my goal. The length of the program is 8 semesters. The costs of the program is $11,812.50 per semester. The costs of living in the area, averages to about $25,000 per school year. The school is 3 years in length, after which, I will persue an agent, and begin my auditions for any upcoming major role, or minor if it takes to just get started. Who knows, I may even be able to get my daughter into something bigger as well, and maybe end up filming together, much like Will Smith and his son Jada Smith has done.
