Kiara : 10yr old Fighting Leukemia (ALL T-cell)

Kiara Pennells was a lively healthy vivacious little girl, who loves to dance, sing and cook. Kiara is the only girl, and second eldest of four siblings. Kiara fell ill in October 2015, with a right pleural effusion (lung collapse). After intensive treatment in ICU, she was sent home on strong and ongoing medication, and in March 2016, presented a left pleural effusion . After multiple tests, Kiara was diagnosed with High Risk Acute T-cell Lymphoblastic Leukemia, with chromosomal adjurations. Kiara is currently undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, and will require a stem cell transplant.

The family has medical insurance, but not all medical expenses are covered, and this campaign is in aid of raising funds to pay for all additional medical expenses, and to cover costs of the stem cell transplant.

We are humbled and honored to be the parents of such a beautiful little girl, and hope that one day our story will inspire hope to others walking this very difficult journey.
