SUPPORT “PURE” – A STUDENT FILM

Dear People of the Internet,

We humbly ask you for support to help us grow as artists!

We are a group of young filmmakers. Young but already old enough to take seriously our projects and do our best to create something really good.

We have a good script, great crew and lots of energy and dedication.
Unfortunately, we lack some money to create what we think is good, without compromising a lot. In many cases, budget is one of the main factors determining quality of the film (hard work, creativity, good acting etc. we've got covered!).

We're making a film about a very delicate matter – feelings for someone. Is it love? Maybe. Is it friendship? Maybe. Is it wrong interpretation of the smallest things? Also maybe. Is it all a misdeed, a sin?

In an enclosed convent of cloistered nuns, where Agnieszka dovotes her life to God and contemplation, a new girl, Zuza, shows up to become a nun. Agnieszka is assigned to show her the ropes and they become friends. They differ a lot – Agnieszka is more deep in thought, quiet girl, while Zuza has not quieted down yet and she's full of life, although the silent, encolsed convent supresses any sparks of personal life.

Still, something happens between the two girls and none of them is sure what it is and what to do with it. Coming from different backgrounds, having different personalities and spiritual life, they react and interpret signs without any words, what creates an illusionary boundary between them. Agnieszka and Zuza have to make decisions in accordance with their conscience, beliefs and character.

We have almost everything ready and we've already invested all of our savings to make this film happen. Still, we're a little bit short of money. So if you have some spare change, we kindly ask you to support us. And if you can't, please share.
