2019 was a year of stressful and traumatizing events for me personally that spiraled into an even greater disaster for the whole world, that still goes on until today. I lost 2 grandparents at the end of 2019, one of whom raised me when I was young. I traveled from the states to Taiwan to attend both of their funerals. My grandfather passed away in September. I flew back to Taiwan at the end of September to attend his funeral. After his funeral, I stayed with my current boyfriend's family. His family is one of the kindest parents I have ever met. I found out I had a tumor growing on my right breast at the end of October and had it checked out in November. I was in and out of the hospital for checkups during November and the doctor had told me I had a 2 cm long lump growing and he recommended removing it. During the timing before I was scheduled for surgery, I further received news my grandmother had passed away in December. I attended her funeral in January. My boyfriend's family allowed me to stay with them during the time I had surgery. During the checkups to the hospital and also throughout the surgery, my boyfriend accompanied me the entire time and even paid all my hospital bills for my surgery. I am extremely grateful to him and his family. I don't even know how to repay them for all their kindness. I wish to help him pay off his college debts and to be able to purchase a home to move out so I don't need to burden them any further. I grew up being very shy in a very conservative family where I was taught to not rely on others for help and to get things done on my own but I had a mentor who once told me that, it's alright to ask others for help sometimes when we need it. I would like to be able to start up a business that produces passive income all the while starting a non-profit organization, helping the elderly get off the streets and get them something to do, so they can stay off the streets. The elderly have massive amounts of knowledge and experience but most businesses like hiring the younger generations. Often but not we help the young but the elderly and homeless are left. The gratifying feeling that we helped someone in need, brings me immense joy inside.

Real Estate and renovations are very expensive in Taiwan. The prices are racked up so much that I don't even know how the younger generations will be able to purchase a house on their own without any help. If anyone could lead me in the right direction it would be of much assistance!

Any help is kindly appreciated!
