First Online Men's Grooming Store Specializing In American Made Products



Introduction:

I'm currently raising money for my online business called Punky! We specialize specifically in selling a variety of American made men's grooming products as well as being the future home of a soon to launch men’s grooming product line expected in January 2019 if not sooner. I would like, okay, I’ll be honest we need capital funding for the company and brand in order to do several parts to a plan in an effort to become successful in the near future. Startup capital is very difficult to obtain through traditional lending sources which require many startups businesses to be fully functioning business with requirements in longevity of the business and believe it or not a ridiculously large amount of profit being obtained before they will consider your business. So I’ve put my faith into crowdfunding platforms in which I will attempt to do my best in explaining and selling to you this unique and high potential business that focuses on producing our own and selling it with other American Made Grooming Products. We are dedicated to obtaining the Beneficial Corporation status through California as well as B Corp status through B Lab Corporation a non-profit that offers a certification for companies that meet the rigorous social and environmental performance, accountability, and transparency. Punky has a for purpose existence in the world we live and work in with accountability and transparency in the business we do.

The first part of the 3 part plan would be to secure items for inventory, currently I'm only able to drop ship products and as convenient and financially feasible that it is, we lack access to many other wonderful American ran companies! Many of the companies within the grooming industry who sell products base their model of business around product placement, and try to place in as many locations as possible.This achieves the appearance of being popular and successful as it is seen in multiple locations which Increases exposure for sales. Their form of income comes in that of high volume wholesale purchases for their products by retailers. They for the most part are to be stocked in a brick and mortar store giving them that product placement and a source of instant satisfaction for customers who are try to purchase the plot for the same day. Because we lack a physical storefront and only sell online, currently the census from many of the independent companies we’ve discussed allowing feel that there really doesn’t need to be multiple online sources. if they themselves have an online store already established. We at Punky look at this differently and we feel when a customer comes to our site it is because they are specifically looking for a condensed location of trending or popular American Made products and by being on our site the person has a greater chance statistically to purchase additional items that they didn’t come for originally therefore introducing and developing a relationship amongst the company and consumer/customer.

Secondly I would like to begin production of a few products such as lip balm, a moisturizer and or a complete hair and body wash. These products will be made specifically to address some of the features in men’s skin that women lack. Both men and women have very different needs and requirements regarding skin care for example. Many corporate companies that have dominated the women’s bath & beauty products felt this tailoring for men consisted of slapping a men’s label on a formally produced female product and to them that constitutes the production of a men’s product all of a sudden. It is our intention with Punky to meet with a product specialist in this area field of work to have an experts help in designing a recipe for moisturizer, men’s lip balm i (various shapes or sizes and recipes at the store I believe The brand account line seemed to think ine will be responsible, Natural & organic were possible, sustainable, tailored and formulated specifically for men, and lastly you guessed it made in the USA!

Lastly I would like to invest what's remaining into marketing for the online shop https://punkyshop.com to drive traffic and increase SEO. Realizing that SEO will require a significant amount of content we went ahead and formed a men’s grooming blog called Groomerica https://blog.punkyshop.com. The information provided by the blog will be all about products, information, comparisons, and style to name a few of the topics we will be covering. The content from this blog will be the key to long term security of SEO on search engines such as Google. Falling within the terms of long term budget for marketing we have and will be setting aside a large portion for a blogging author who will write with a steady consistent style and flow, that people will become familiar with the articles and be more likely to read them or recommend them for linking with other sites. There will be at minimum two articles written weekly and special articles related to current events, seasonal, and or product releases. The short term investing in marketing for Punky will be through pay per click ads ran on Google and Bing but more importantly through our social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Google+. This will hopefully help to establish a following for the blog and online shop while we are waiting for the content SEO to become crawled and appropriately backlinked where possible. We are aware that pay per click marketing is not a Financially viable form of marketing for us as a startup with limited capital, however we have done some ppc testing these past few weeks as well as in-depth keyword research which we feel will bring to the table exactly what we are looking for with traffic and development. It just might make the difference in being profitable or not in this first few quarters.

Why should you consider taking stock or equity in Punky or even donating to a company that has yet to show any performance? Well for starter’s the men’s grooming industry has exploded starting back in 2013 when men's skincare products purchased exceeded shaving products purchased through the year. A consistent steady growth trend in these numbers has been recognized and early predictions state that it doesn’t get much better then this for growth of an existing industry. Since that time in 2013 it's proven and projected growth is expected to nearly double by 2022 to $30 billion dollars. I believe it is important to get a foothold in this industry soon as the market share for independent companies is only going to dwindle as more and more develop. Better to get a head start then no start at all! Lastly you will be investing or supporting a team of intelligence and drive, the ability to overcome obstacles to get what we want has never deterred us! Lori my wonderful mother and partner in Punky has the skills to pay the bills with her history in the business world running multimillion dollar companies to developing productive entrepreneurial businesses not only for income but as well for fun. We would welcome your input and accommodate the desires of our investors in a round table discussion on a regular basis be sure to have open transparent practices for our United cause in that of punky!
