PuCC, veteran comm cat with insulinoma pancreatitis cancer

Pucc was an x comm cat who existed in this world before SARS time. She is estimated to be more than 15yrs.

Recently she developed a hypoglycemia symptom. Rushed her to a 24 hr vet. As it was at wee hour and any treatment will be costly , an anti vomit med and antibiotic jap given was admister. Need to do a blood test asap to find out what going on . Went to Island vet few days later for a blood test. Blood result indicate she has a very low blood glucose that trigger hypoglycemia. Suspected to be having insulinoma a tumour at the pancreas that generates its own insulin. An overdose of insulin can lead to comatose . In order to confirm this , ultrasound need to be done asap. Proceed for an ultrasound and result revealed that she has a small tumor at pancrease and an enlarge gland at her abdomen. Surgery was the next step to remove the tumor and the enlarge gland sample from both were sent for biopsy and the result indicated that its cancerous. Its an insulinoma pancreatitic cancer. Prognosis is not good. Usually the cancer for this kind is very aggresive. Post surgery was not good. She not eating on her own. When force feeding her , she refused to swallow the food. She will spit out the medicine given. Due to this issue , a tube is in placed through her throat to admister food. After the tube placement for food , she still feeling nausea & vomit & salivating. Any food given thru the tube she also vomit out . The food trigger her pancrease to react. Another ultrasoundis done on 10th Oct. Result not out yet but vet stated that her pancrease is inflamed. She has 2 issues now. Her pancrease n her cancer. She need to be on IV drip till her pancrease settle in. It may take month in some cats. PLS HELP PuCC. Any amt goes a long way in helping her to recover.
