Publishing wildlife photomonograph “Birds of Modrac”

Fotomonografija o jezeru Modrac pod nazivom "Ptice Modraca" je fotografska priča o jezeru Modrac, rezultat petogodišnjeg rada sa vode, kopna i zemlje i koja oslikava karakter herojske borbe jednog prirodnog podneblja protiv brutalnog višedecenijskog zagađenja kojima je jezero okruženo sa svih strana. „Ptice Modraca“ sadrže opise i prikaze bogatog prirodnog potencijala Bosne i Hercegovine i samog jezera, zatim fotografije 63 vrste ptica u njihovim staništima na jezeru, prikaz egzotičnih predjela i bara jezera i naznačenu odgovornost svih subjekata koji gravitiraju jezeru, opterećenom višedecenijskim zagađenjem. Sve navedeno prikazano je na 245 strana velikog formata, sa 300 HD fotografija i "Ptice Modraca" predstavljaju pionirsku wildlife publikaciju u BiH obzirom na malu zastupljenost autora prirodnih publikacija i samih wildlife fotografa u BiH.

Obzirom da je Modrac nastao kao strateški vodeni resurs za industriju Bosne i Hercegovine, nephodnost zaštite njegovog bogatog biljnog, vodenog i životinjskog svijeta je veća nego ikada i ova fotomonografija može biti prekretnica da se konačno u praksi i započne sa takvim djelovanjem lokalno i u ostatku BiH. "Ptice Modraca" su svjedok trans-generacijske nemarnosti ovdašnjih ljudi, bivšeg i sadašnjeg sistema i moja iskrena oda nevjerovatnoj ljepoti egzotičnih drugara- PTICA!

Kao takva idealna je za edukaciju šire javnosti, studenata i novih generacija koji će u rukama sigurno imati jednu prirodnu enciklopediju na koju nece ostati ravnodušni.

Sredstva koja se prikupljaju se odnose na dizajn, pripremu i štampu knjige u ukupnom tirazu od 600 primjeraka. Za sve uplate u iznosu 5- 10 EUR saljem na mail donatoru fotografiju sove male ušare u formatu 40x60 spremnu za print; uplate od 10 -20 EUR dvije fotografije po izboru a primjerak knjige mozete obezbijediti uplatom od 20 EUR za isporuke u BiH i 35 EUR za isporuke worldwide.

Photomonography tittled "The Birds of Modrac" is a photographic story about Lake Modrac nearby Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the most polluted lake in Europe who responds with rise of natural life. The result of my five-year field research reflects the character of the heroic struggle of a natural climate against the brutal decades-long pollution that surrounds the lake from all sides. "Birds of Modrac" contain descriptions and representations of the rich natural potential of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the lake itself, then photographs of 63 species of birds in their habitats on the lake, a display of exotic areas and ponds of the lake and indicates responsibility of all subjects gravitating the lake, burdened with decades of pollution. All of the above is shown on 245 pages of large format, with 300 HD photos and " The Birds of Modrac" represents a pioneering wildlife publication in Bosnia and Herzegovina due to the small number of natural publications and the wildlife photographers themselves in Bosnia.

Since Modrac was created as a strategic water resource for the dirty industry of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the necessity of protecting its rich plant, aquatic and animal world is greater than ever and this photomonography can be a turning point to finally start with such activities locally and hopefuly with the chain reaction in the rest of Bosnia and Herzegovina. " The Birds of Modrac" is a witness to the trans-generational negligence of the domestic people , the former and present system, and my sincere ode to the incredible beauty of exotic friends - BIRDS!

As such, it is ideal for educating the general public, students and new generations who will have a natural encyclopedia in their hands to which they will not remain indifferent.

The collected funds are meant to spent on the design, preparation and printing/ publishing costs of the book in a total edition of 600 copies.
