I'm doing a research on amulet. Beginning with the origin of the amulet to its magical properties and power it provided. Such as to bring good luck to its users and their families, being able to ward off negative energy, evil spirits, illness and as protection for their families and home against intruders and their shore against invadersor even illness.

Anything can function as an amulet; animal part, coins, drawing, gems, engraved gems, part of plant, pendant, piece of cloth, plant, sketches, statue, stones, written word or any other object and even incantations or magical spells. Some of the object may need to be blessed by a holy man or its authorized representative, while some are naturally imbued with power.

Do amulets really work? Are they really effective? Do they possess magical powers in themselves or do they draw such power out of the maker?

Throughout history, on every continent and in almost every culture, it has been held that amulets have offered protection against negative forces.

The research will try to discover the truth behind its claim. How it is dispense and who give the power to the dispenser to The result of the research will be published.
