Ptr Manny Reyes’ Condition Update

It's been two years since his last hospital visit. Now he is back, but in more dire situation.

My father, Manny, now 74 yrs old, is a retired Professor at the Theology of the Adventist University of the Philippines.

He is currently admitted at the Adventist Medical Center Manila in Pasay, recovering from Community Acquired Pneumonia. Along with other complications like Bronchiectasis (COPD), Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD).

He was intubated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) for 3 weeks. And until now after almost 2 months is still in the hospital. He undergoes Hemodialysis about every other day and this has been really taxing for him. This also means that our hospital bill has risen immensely.

For now his response to the care and medication are minimal. This crisis has done damage to his lungs and kidneys. Weak, with fever and always out of breath.

The doctors and nurses have done their part and have been warm to us. I have seen how their countenances have been low, and I knew that papa's condition is becoming critical.

We sincerely thank you for your prayers for him. Thank you for always being there for him even now in his sunset years.
