Psychology project in Mongolia

Hi, everyone. I am 20 years old and I have recently graduated from university, with a three years of Bachelor of Science degree, specialising in psychology and looking forward to continuing my master degree in September 2018.

During this gap year, I would love to volunteer a psychology project in Mongolia to assist qualified psychologists with research and consulting, offered by “Project Abroad”.

Psychology is a relatively new science in Mongolia and there is only limited healthcare centres. All Psychology volunteers are placed at one of the partner psychology treatment centres. These include a maternity hospital, a cancer hospital, and a counselling service centre. With this great opportunity, I will be able to share my knowledge with the local psychologist as well as learn from them. This also provides me a opportunity to service the community and deeper the understanding of the healthcare system.

All the money donated will be used for flight tickets, visas and a fee charged by “Project Abroad” that provides accommodation, insurance and transportation.

大家好。本人剛從英國大學學士畢業，完成三年的心理學課程，並希望在明年二月到蒙古參加心理學義工，協助蒙古心理學家處理日常研究，由project abroad 支持。

心理學在蒙古是一門新興的科學領域，他們在當地的精神健康治療的選擇十分有限。所有心理學項目義工將會安排在其中一個合作機構夥伴的心理診療中心裡工作，中心設立的地點包括婦產科醫院、癌症治療醫院和諮詢輔導服務中心。

借此機會，本人能夠跟當地的專家分享學過的心理學知識，當然也可以從他們身上豐富自己的心理學實踐工作經驗，同時能夠深入了解心理學的醫療體系。

籌得的經費將會用在購買機票、簽證及義工項目的費用包括提供保險、食宿、當地交通等。
