1 out of 5 children in Indonesia could not pursue secondary education.
At a tender age, they need to work to sustain their family, sometimes even as the breadwinner.
Furthermore, mindset that education is not as important as earning money is still prevalent in a generally less privileged society.
Proyek Malin, a non-profit organization founded in 2017 aimed to change this mindset and believe in the significance of education as the long term solution to poverty alleviation.
We develop programs to impart the importance of education and deliver it to the schools in different cities in Indonesia. In December 2017, we went to 5 schools and inspired them to continue their education.
This year, we would like to do the same. However, we still need $2,000 to run and develop our program.
Your continuous care, generosity and contribution would definitely be a helping hand to us and especially those children.
