Hola Amigos y Amigas!!

Como ustedes saben me he dedicado estos ultimos años de mi vida a trabajar como Instructor de buceo. Cambie la estresante carrera de un Ingeniero por otra que da mucha alegria y levanta el alma y el espiritu. No hay nada mejor que la expresion en las caras de la gente cuando descubren lo que hay en el mundo submarino. Tambien la sensacion de estar bajo del agua y sentirte parte de un mundo al que realmente no pertecenemos pero al que podemos visitar gracias a un tanque lleno de aire y un sistema que nos permite respirar ese aire, es indescriptible.

Despues de mi primer buceo, era lo unico que queria hacer y tome la decicion de renunciar a una vida comoda y lanzarme a la aventura y convertirme en Instructor de buceo. En definitiva, el buceo me cambio la vida y ha sido una de las mejores cosas que hecho.

He tenido la suerte de bucear en varios paises del mundo, como Australia, Honduras, Mexico, Filipinas e Indonesia donde me encuentro actualmente en una pequena isla llamada Gili Trawangan, en la que ya me gustaria asentarme.

Aca el buceo es increible, se pueden ver muchas tortugas marinas, incluso le llaman la capital mundial de las tortugas. Tambien tenemos la suerte de aun ver algunos tiburones en las aguas no profundas y obviamente cientos de las diferentes especies marinas.

Pero, necesito ir mas alla, pasar a la siguiente etapa. Ya que hay algo que aun no he explorado y son las aguas profundas.

Uno de mis sueños es hacer buceo tecnico, para poder bucear mas profundo y por mas tiempo. Y asi explorar una mayor parte de este inmenso oceano.

Para ser buceador tecnico se requiere un entrenamiento especial, ya que un error bajo el agua puede ser fatal. Aqui en las Gili se encuentran muchas eminencias del buceo tecnico, como Will Goodman (blackwatertek.com) que es sostiene un Record del mundo Guiness por el l buceo mas largo (48 horas y 8 minutos!!) y por haber descendido a 290 mts con un dispositivo circuito cerrado rebreather!

Este entrenamiento tambien es caro, cuesta 10.900.000 idr (Algo asi como 785 USD), mas el arriendo del equipo, que por 6 buceos (lo que dura el curso) son 2.000.000idr (140 usd), mas el valor del gas (que se usara para respirar debajo del agua), que es un estimado de 1.500.000 idr (110 usd)

El 1 de Abril Will Goodman, empezara un curso y pues tengo unas ganas enormes de estar ahi y aprender de una leyenda del buceo. Tanto asi que me, sacudi la verguenza, me hice de las ganas y la cara de palo de pedirles ayuda por este medio.

Necesito juntar 1000 USD, para cumplir este sueño y estar en este curso el 1 de Abril. Ayudenme a cumplirlo por favor.

Hello my friends!!

As some of you know I've dedicated myself these last few years to be a Dive Instructor. Took the plunge and changed my stressing and very little exciting life as an Engineer for career that lift your spirit, fill your soul and give you heaps of happiness.

There are very few things more rewarding than watching people's faces after they've experience the breathtaking underwater world and its flora and fauna. Also the feeling of being underwater and be part of a world where we dont belong but that we can visit thanks to a tank full of air and an air delivery system so we can breathe is beyond words.

After my first dive it was the only thing I wanted to do so I took the decision to quit to everything to go for an adventure and become a dive instructor.

Diving changed my life and it was the best thing I've ever done.

I've been lucky enough to dive in different places like Australia, Honduras, Mexico, Philippines and Indonesia, where I currently live in an little island called Gili Trawangan.

Here the diving is great we are lucky to see many turtles we can still see some sharks in the shallow waters

But I need something more. I need to go and explore beyond where my actual training let me go. And that is the deep waters

One of my dreams is to become a technical to dive deeper and longer and to be able to explore more of this vast ocean.

To become a technical diver it requires a special training, because a simple mistake can be fatal. Here in the Gilis there are some renowned technical Technical Dive Instructors, such as Will Goodman (blackwatertek.com) a Guinness World Record holder for the longest scuba dive (48 hours and 8 minutes), descended to a recorded depth of 290m using JJ-CCR (closed-circuit rebreather)

This training is also expensive. It cost 10.9M idr (785 usd), plus rental equipment for 6 dives (which is the length of the course) for 2M idr (140usd) plus an estimated gas cost of 1.5M idr (110usd), which depend of the gas consumption.

On April 1st Will Goodman, will start a course and I have a huge desire to be there and learn from Scuba Dive legend. So much so, I've shaken off the shame to have the face to for ask help this way.

I need 1000 USD to make this dream come true and be in this training on April 1st.
