Providing mental satisfaction for marginalized elders

Heal & Feel Concept of Sarath Namalgama is a project undertaken with the aim of Providing Mental Satisfaction for Isolated People in Sri Lanka targeting Elders Homes.

• Providing mental satisfaction to Elders marginalised in Elders homes through telecasting movies and tele-films.
• To organize awareness programs in schools in the government and private sector, as well as in government Departments and Corporations.

• To make a documentary film.

Documentary Film – Consist with four main categories such as Animation (How child is brought up covering two decades from the foetus states), Narration, Songs and Practical evidence (How parents are being frustrated, affected and hopeless in Elders’ Homes)

Show screenings in Elders’ Homes

Our formal request is you to undertake by sponsoring any number of film show screenings in Elders’ Homes or possible donations since we are planning to reach 100 locations of Elders’ Homes.

Heal and Feel Concept

An essential requirement of providing mental satisfaction to the Elders in Elders’ Homes which seems to be over-looked by the Sri Lankan society is already commenced by us with a view to fulfill the humanitarian requirement by screening Tele film shows in Elders’ Homes island wide Sri Lanka.

The expenses are as follows (for screening per home),

Each Elders’ Home show = $ 500/= (Approx.)
(Completion within one day)
Each Elders” Home show = $ 700/= (Approx.)
(Completion within two days)

Expenses for making of the documentary.

The Film is specially produced at a cost of SLR Rs 4 million to entertain the Elders and it is being screened by using 8 x 6 screen in 67 Elders’ Homes to the date.
The particular film which we are screening is recommended by the social science faculty of Open University in Colombo Sri Lanka.
The written consent is granted by the Ministry of Culture & Arts, and Social Services Department in Sri Lanka to continue this timely concept.

Everything, Including prior arrangements, equipment hiring, Transport, Meals for the crew and office work will be incurred SLR Rs.30, 000 approximately for each show. Those who are willing to stand for the event may contact us as follows.
