First of all, I would like to thank everyone who is taking time to read about my fundraiser. I appreciate each and everyone of you.

I'll start my telling you about my family, I am 35 years old and the mother of two extraordinary and beautiful daughters, Whitley who is 18 and Shakyra who is 16. We are originally from Georgia but I moved to Baltimore two and a half years ago to help a friend care for his grandmother, who suffered from alzheimer's, dementia and could not walk. When I found out that he was taking care of her without any help whatsoever I immediately started making arrangements to go to Baltimore to help him in any way that I could.

My youngest daughter, Shakyra, now lives in Baltimore with me and is excelling as a Freshman in high school. My oldest daughter, Whitley, is still in Georgia and is now a Senior in high school. This brings me to the reason I have started this fundraiser..

Whitley will graduate in May, 2014 and nothing would make me more proud than for me and her sister to be able to see her except her diploma, but there is a problem, we have no money to travel to Georgia. My goal is to raise enough money so that Shakyra and I can go home to watch the first woman in our family to graduate from high school.

Please consider sponsoring our trip to the graduation as this truly is an epic event for our family. My family and I would like to thank you for your consideration. May you be blessed.
