St Paul's primary school is situated in a remote village in kikuyu area, Kenya. The neighbouring village is poverty stricken, covered by semi arid conditions, deep in alcohol abuse and full of dysfunctional families.
On realizing the need to liberate the children from this area from the shackles of ignorance, poverty and immorality; our late father Onesmus Waititu who was a staunch catholic and a renowned disciplinarian, founded the institution anchored on strong Christian values. It charges a small fee as majority of the parents are peasant farmers to help keep the very needy children in school. The school inculcates virtues of hardwork, discipline and integrity. The school has excelled all along in sending needy students to reputable secondary schools in Kenya.
In 2019 the government of Kenya introduced a new competency based curriculum that embraces technological advancement of our time. As such learning, in this school has been hampered by lack of electricity, computers and an internet source. The school is facing a near closure occurrence as the parents can't afford such.
Therefore, I Stephen mwangi makumi would be happy if you can assist me buy the 120 needy pupils each a tablet, build a computer Lab, connect the school to electricity and more importantly connect them to an internet signal.
