Almost one third of India’s population of more than 1.1 billion continues to live below the poverty line, and a large proportion of poor people live in rural areas. Poverty remains a chronic condition for almost 30 per cent of India’s rural population. The incidence of rural poverty has declined somewhat over the past three decades as a result of rural to urban migration.Poverty is deepest among members of scheduled castes and tribes in the country's rural areas. With this poverty the basic need of this fund raising campaign starts. Education: Lack of money to even support themselves for a two time meal results in lack of interest in education Food: Lack of income source , results in begging for a two time meal Cloth Basic right for women: The infringment of their basic right often cause a deep resentment among them. Fighting with Disease and giving proper treatment: A resurgence of malaria, dengue and tuberculosis indicates that much of the poor health emanates from a lack of basic amenities such as sanitation, clean water and housing, coupled with a lack of awareness about the need to take precautionary measures against preventable and infectious diseases So i would request people from every sector to contribute a little for the well being of poor people.
