PROJETO ESPERANA

Project Esperança has been established at the 1st June in 2006, with headquarters in the city of Aracaju, Sergipe state. If you fully translate Project Esperança then you get Project Hope and here it's all about for the children, hope for a better future. Through the implementation of prevention programs of social risk and socio-educational protection, we want to increase the strength of family and community ties to children and adolescents, regardless of; race, color, sex, religion or any other form of discrimination.The programs mentioned before consist school activities, computer classes, tutoring, recreational workshops, sports (capoeira and football) and music (piano and guitar). Every day another part of the program is scheduled and there are morning and afternoon sessions. The project also provides the children a snack once a day, this could be a brownie with chocolate milk something they wouldn't get at home. We also support the children for family social vulnerability in order to improve the quality of life.To keep up the good work of the volunteers of project Esperanca and to ensure the continuity of the project, they need money. With the money they will buy everything what's needed to help the children and what's supporting their mission: The fundamental principle of the project is to effectively contribute to raising self-esteem and improve professional skills, with a view to improving school performance and maximizing future expectations through the activities developed. The institution seeks to be one of the fundamental steps for optimization of transforming processes and will function as a driver to stimulate family member inclusion, providing better psychosocial understanding and material conditions for participants of the project.A few examples of the needs of the project are:- school materials- equipment to work with children, like educational games - food and beverages - internet acces - cleaning and hygiene equipment - payment for the bills of electricity, water and telephone - air conditioning would be very helpful for the children to concentrate and to create a nice environment So do you feel for these children and would you really like to help them getting a brighter future?
