Help us raise funds for the construction of a PWD-friendly factory
Project Lily PH is a livelihood project for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), making eco-friendly charcoals from water lily (hyacinth) and other agriforest wastes. It fights to end poverty and inequality, save the environment, and empower the people.
OUR GOAL: Project Lily PH aims for the construction of a manufacturing facility that is suited for the increase of production capacity that could provide more job opportunities to the PWD community and marginalized sector.
THE SITUATION: Our factory is located in a reclaimed area. Unexpectedly this December 2017, the land fill had to push through and our current shelter had to be deconstructed. This is also for the area expansion and future commercialization plans. We are currently relocated near our permanent land, and the reconstruction of the factory is dated in March 2018.
ABOUT PROJECT LILY PH: Project Lily PH, in just a span of one year, has been awarded as the Most Promising Youth Social Enterprise 2017 in the 1st Youth Poverty Reduction Challenge of Villar Sipag Foundation. ANC’s lifestyle program Green Living has also featured and showcased Project Lily PH in its October 3, 2017 episode; as well as TV 5’s Alagang Kapatid on its November 25, 2017 episode. Today, Project Lily PH supplies eco-friendly charcoals to Korean barbecue restaurants, and resorts who it calls as “Eco-Partners.” Also, it has resellers at public markets and outlet stores in Metro Manila.
Its manufacturing product called "Eco-Uling" competes and goes beyond traditional charcoal: lasting up to one hour, having less to no smoke, 2x heat, and easy to ignite. Project Lily PH saves 88 trees for every ton of Eco-Uling produced.
Your support will go a long way, you do not only sustain a livelihood, but also empower the potential of our PWD Community. Thank you for helping us end poverty and inequality, empower the people and save the environment.
