$2,000 - Okano-sensei and 1 guest will have a 2-week all-expenses paid for a trip to Okinawa. Travel, lodging, food, and entertainment will be covered!

Dear current AIU students and Alumni,
Hey guys! I'm so sorry for not keeping up with you! I've been busy completing my master's and continuing my research! Yikes!
I've brought all of you here because you have all studied here as international students in the many years I've been around. I never forget my international friends, and all of you have helped and supported me in my times of need. I can never thank you enough!
**But, there's a more pressing concern, which needs your upmost attention. In COS, everyone loves Okano-sensei (George) and he's provided us with countless joy and laughter throughout each volunteer program. We all love him!
However, This is his final semester at AIU. He will be leaving this winter.
I'm initially shocked because Okano-sensei has been a staple at the COS for a number of years. He's always been around us ever since we've arrived at AIU. He's done so much for us in many ways we can't even imagine.
Now, it's our turn.
We're planning on a team of current AIU students to present Okano-sensei with a gift that will be from all of us. I've contacted you guys specifically because you are my most trusted friends and have volunteered at COS countless times.
This is a massive project, and we need your help. It's going to take about 6 weeks to complete this and I hope you can help me bring some final joy and happiness to an amazing person.
That being said, if you do not wish to participate, I will not be offended in any way; all of us have different lives and committments so please consider that before you go all-in.
We're gonna ask for video tributes, pictures w/signs, money donations for a plaque/statue, and lots more in this project. But we can't do it alone. We need all the international students in this together!
