Fund My First Book

Hi, first and foremost, thanks for reading this - it could save the world, literally!

This fundraising project has been created as I hope some of my friends, family and even strangers could help fund my book idea (yep, books still exist!).

I've fallen short $1,300 and this is needed in order to get my book published!

So what is the book amount?

It's titled:

The World And The Junior High Eco-Warriors!

As those of you who know me are aware, I am heavily involved in environmental campaigns. I've lectured at schools about the importance of protecting the environment, am involved in Greenpeace initiatives and also hold a degree in the field along with a number of related certificates of achievement in environmental protection.

The book is aimed at children in the 5 to 10 age group and it it's a story about a group of children who make small and positive changes which lead to a knock on effect within their community that ultimately help save the world! Bit of a jump, I know, but once you read the book it'll all fall into place :)

Apart from being enjoyable, this book aims to increase awareness of our social responsibility and this is especially important to instil in our younger generations.
