Who are we?
We are Team d’Bom, 4th year Business Economics students of the College of Commerce and Business Administration of the University of Santo Tomas. A part of our initiative is to help a Badjao community needing accessible healthcare.
Who are our beneficiaries?
A Badjao Community in Brgy. Malitam, Batangas City is our chosen community. They hail all the way from Zamboanga city and chose to reside along Batangas’ Calumpang river and built a now growing community.
About our project:
One of the problems of the community is their lack of accessibility to health care facilities. The nearest health center from the community takes a painful and expensive tricycle ride for them, increasing the possibility of them to not receive the needed care. With this, we decided to bring health care closer to their homes; that is why we bring you “Project Salbabuhay.”
