Campaign Story
Last week the Philippines was hit with one of the largest typhoons. The Philippines is composed of thousands of islands where most people live in nipa huts, at sea level. Typhoon Haiyan has affected four million people in 36 provinces. Water sources have been contaminated, there is a shortage of food, and many people are without homes. This is a tragedy. We are Filipino-Americans that are devastated for our people and are trying to send some relief for those affected. We will do this by tapping into our personal networks to raise awareness and funds for the victims to ensure the funds are being used for this cause. We we are collaborating with JHMT's Operation Kabalikat in the Philippines to provide food, clothing, water, the re-construction of homes, and medical missions to the islands of Bohol, Smar, Leyte, Tacloban, and Coron. Please support us by sharing this with everyone.
"People are already fighting and willing to kill each other just to eat and survive. Please continue to pray for our people." -Cristina
