Campaign Story
Give the privilege of a privileged life to those who aren't able to. With the devastating earthquakes in Nepal in May and April 2015, the world have stepped up to give a helping hand, but that still is not enough as the economic impact was estimated at around USD$7 billion. There are villages to be rebuilt, basic amenities such as water and heating to be provided, and families to be fed amongst all the other ongoing struggles being faced by a tiny country constantly rocked by monthly earthquakes.
With Project Pay Back, we are hoping to give back to the world one project at a time. A lot of us lead busy lives, trying to have the perfect work life balance. In this age and time, we definitely believe that everyone has a good heart and would love to give back to the universe, some in smaller subtle ways, and others in bigger more prominent ways - just that we don't always have the avenues to where and for what. It's nice to always have a little kick in the butt for conscience to kick in ;)
With the first project that we are carrying out, our focus will be a little further away from home, but not any less pressing - Nepal. Joanna and Moritz will be traveling to Nepal on the 25th of February with the goal of making it easier for everyone to give back to society, and the world and they need your help.
They will be working with Hand in Hand Nepal (http://handinhandnepal.org/) to collect funds where the goal is to improve the quality life of the most marginalised / disadvantaged community people by education, health, income & basic infrastructure. We empower the communities through our four major programs: women’s empowerment, children’s development, youth development and community health.
Your contribution will help towards building water tanks in villages, giving education to needy children and for food distribution in villages affected by the quakes - all basic necessities of life. They are aiming for SGD$1,500, no big feat in any way, but big outcomes for the ones who need them the most in Nepal.
Help them help the universe's cause by donating. Every little cent helps. As an added perk, here are the rewards for donors: Every donor will receive 2 complimentary Boot Camp sessions and donations above $200 will receive a complimentary assessment and Personal Training session at a location of their choice, both rewards compliments of Sam at www.funkyfitness1.com. Also for those who donate $250 and above (limited to the first 2 donors) will get a custom made watercolour painting from Joanna who everyone knows is too lazy to usually collect custom orders and who paints for therapy, not as a business. :)
Let's get the ball rolling to be a better person to the universe, to be a best version of yourself. Thank you!
“You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.”
