Project Nanna

Let me tell you a little about 'Project Nanna', my beautiful great grandma (who has made it to 94!) has sadly arrived to the last of her days... It breaks my heart that this kind, compassionate woman who cared for me so fiercely when I was young will soon be leaving my life. She always wanted what was best for me and now I only long to return the favour. The idea behind the fundraiser is this; My nan grew up in Communist days when her country was taken and opressed, she was never allowed to visit other countries, and to this day on she has never been abroad and hides away in her little hut. However, she has always dreamt of seeing new land and experiencing new things.  My plan is to raise £300 for her flight ticket to England so that we could see each other before the dreaded day. It would mean so so much to me if you could all contribute and make a donation even if it is as little as 5p or as much as £10 (or even more!).  Thank you a ridiculous amount for reading this and even more so to the ones that donate!
