PROJECT-MUSIC AID FOR VISUALLY CHALLENGED

HELPING VISUALLY CHALLENGED TO PLAY MUSIC USING INNOVATIVE BRAILLE MUSIC CHART.

FACES goal is to help visually challenged people play the keyboard/piano by themselves using an innovative Braille music chartto be designed by L.S.Ramesh ,Musicologist.

• The purpose and anticipated end result of this proposal

The music chart can be used to teach visually challenged persons to learn by themselves

of US$ 50,000/- which will be used to give music charts to play the music scales:-Indian,western by themselves on the keyboard/piano.

No music knowledge is necessary.

• The type and amount of support requested

Since the project will involve teaching the mentors in variousschools for the blind,I am hoping for a support and related materialslike Notes etc.designed by me Free of Cost to the Schools selected.
