It truely is a miracle this girl is alive and has survived such an injury. Orlando Bully Rescue (OBR) wants to see her back to health and find her a home, where she can live the life she deserves. You can help us do that by donating to Orlando Bully Rescue for the surgery and on-going medical treatment she is going to need over the next couple month.

On 10/22/12 Brevard South Animal Care Center in Cocoa Beach, FL received an anonymous call from someone stating that a pit bull was in the back yard of an abandoned house bleeding from her neck. When the Brevard County Animal Control Officer arrived they noticed the dog's throat was slit from ear to ear with a sharp edged object, what looked like a knife. The shelter vet spent hours in ER surgery and Miracle received 100 stitches and the vet placed 2 penrose drains in her neck and put her in a cast. The penrose drains were removed the week of 11/12. She has been on pain medication and antibiotics. When she was brought into the shelter she needed to be quarantined and the shelter did not have a room for her, so they turned a room into a medical room for Miracle, which they will continue to use for other dogs with severe medical conditions.

Orlando Bully Rescue pulled Miracle from Brevard County Animal Shelter on 11/18/12 and brought her to the Deland Animal Hospital on 11/19/12 to have her neck wound evaluated. The wound on her neck was open and OBR was concerned. When the Deland vet saw the open wound on Miracle's neck the vet rushed her into emergency surgery, as the vet needed to close the wound in her neck and put penrose drain back in; otherwise she would have got an infection and the wound would have not closed.

11/19/12 Miracle underwent surgery and closed the wound in her neck, but she now has drains in her neck and will need on-going medical treatment. Your donation will go towards Miracle's medical care over the next couple months.

Orlando Bully Rescue appreciates any donation you can make. Thank you for your continued support and we will make sure we keep everyone update on Miracle's recovery. Miracle is safe and in the care of Orlando Bully Rescue.
