Campaign Story
Project Lugaw is a supplemental feeding program for elementary schools in Bondoc Peninsula in Quezon Province under the flagship program of Hulog ng Langit. It aims to help alleviate the increasing malnutrition problem of young Quezonians which later on leads to physical and mental complications.
Project Lugaw is started by AJ Lacdao in Lucena City, the city-center of Quezon Province. It is a weekly feeding program for homeless and out-of-school youth in the said city. It is now being carried over to Bondoc Peninsula District through personal efforts of yours truly to increase the recipients of the program and targets school children.
We have initially started in Brgy. Salvacion, Agdangan, Quezon and aims to land the program in five more schools within Bondoc Peninsula by the end of the year. By our partnership with the Department of Health, private organizations in Quezon, and your help, we can see the fulfillment of Project Lugaw.
With Project Lugaw, we dream that young Quezonians carry on their duties and responsibilities at school and later on become instruments of change in our nation.
