- Financial adoption-
Financial adoption is Project LoHis' most recent addition. Linking those who wish to help directly to children in need. Local Vietnamese families choose to support a child financially on a monthly basis. Funds are set in an account for the child that ultimately pays for his or her education, materials, food, and clothing.
- Ultimate Outcomes -
- Daily meals: Most of the children we encounter often go without a daily meal
- Quality of life: Every day does not have to be a bad day
- Funding for education: Giving children the key to a better future
- Improved health: Reduce incidences of easily preventable diseases through daily meals
- Mental wellbeing: Better food, home, clothing, and paid education. The pride of caring for their own animals and trees. A better outlook can lead to a better and happier future.
Avenue of Approach: We work with local educational leaders and members of government organizations who guide us to the most severe cases.
Milestones: Our team has helped 6 families improve their standard of living by providing long-term sustainable solutions.
Cost: Each project has been between 30 Million to 40 Million VND ($1,300 - $1,700 USD)
>NOTE< All miscellaneous expenses are paid for by individuals volunteering and or income generated from English classes offered by Co-Founder Alfred Meza (Eddie) and book sales of Co-Founder and author Bella. 100% of donations are used exclusively for orphans. Your donations will never pay for anything not directly contributing to the family of the orphaned children. Meals, transportation, and miscellaneous expenses are paid for by wages earned from teaching English. All expenses are available after every case for public review. We do not condone irresponsible or flagrant misuse of donations by our team or anyone we work with. Everyone on the LoHi team is an unpaid volunteer to include its founders.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. We work 6 days a week teaching English to fund this project and keep fundraising like this to a minimum. If you choose to donate we thank you if it's not the right time that's ok too. It's been a hard year for all of us so don't feel pressure to donate if you yourself are still recovering from the financial hardship that the 2020 epidemic left many of us in. If you know others who may be interested in this kind of project please invite them to read this, we would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you.
