Helping Orphans Pursue Education
In 2016, Intellectual Resources was introduced to an orphanage in Batam (Panti Asuhan Bina Insan Madani) which was striving with extreme conditions of adversities and without any government funding neither support. 8 months behind on their rent, the orphanage was going to be made redundant given their financial circumstances. Without any place to go the 45 orphans was in danger of being made homeless once again.
IR started our Corporate Social Responsibility efforts immediately to safe the home for the orphans. It was a tough time bringing volunteers over to fund some of the orphans food, education and home. Still it is an ongoing issue especially on education and building a home for these orphans.
Project HOPE is an international initiative to help impoverished orphanages build hope and transform the lives of orphans. This is our second project. The first being in Myanmar where we built schools and dug wells for the orphans there until stability was observed.
All funds donated will help them with their temporary home, buy food supplies, education as in school text books and uniforms and to build a permanent home for them.

I met a taxi driver and told my story. He was kind enough to give a donation. Where ever you are I hope you are always blessed with lots of customers and happiness. I did not manage to get his number or his car plate. From the bottom of my heart thank you for donating even as a stranger.
