Campaign Story
Hi, my name is Bronte and I have just started a big project to raise money to fund a trip to Ghana. We will be doing work in a rural village to help the community.
While I am there I will be doing things like:
- Helping build a classroom
- Setting up a school farm
- Improving facilities at a rainforest ecotourism site
The projects are decided by the elders of the local community. I will be living, sleeping eating with them during the stay. The accomodation is very basic with no showers even!
To raise money I have been cooking cakes, painting, dogwalking and babysitting. I have even become an Avon lady and all my commision goes to the project.
