Ayden has Austism Spectrum Disorder. He lives in NJ. He is year's old and in the 2nd grade. He is in a public school. His reading, mathematic and social level are suffering because of the school's decision to keep him in district. Services are beginning to get in order and opportunities to enhance his growth are arising, however, many of the wonderful programs are not offered in NJ.
His family has made the decision to move. They started looking into funding, only to find that most of the grants available to help them are not available in the area of NJ they live in. Ayden has behavioral issues, he doesn't know how to process his emotions correctly. He easily gets frustrated when tasks change. He sometimes hits. He gets suspended and sent home a lot. Enough so that his parents have lost multiple jobs because of the inconsistency in their work schedules and availability due to these events.
They have now fallen behind on the bills
They have since had a car break down and die.
They are in need of what seems like so little to some, but a life changing amount for them. $5000 will get them out of NJ and help them to get a working vehicle. They need to move to another state, many states have programs to help Ayden reach his fullest potential, better than the services available in NJ.
