Being raised in a system where you grew up, went to school got good grades, went to university got good grades, got a job and got married. And when you want to disrupt the system, society doesn't understand it. This means when someone wants to start a business, there is no one available to seek out mentorship. So encumbered upon us is to create a system within our social spaces where we can access mentorship to think differently, this is our deepest challenge socially.
This project aims at tackling this issue through hosting entrepreneurial workshops where we would invite well-known successful businessmen, motivational speakers and other public figures to come and share their experiences, knowledge about entrepreneurship. This sharing of lucrative information will help unlock entrepreneurship within those aspiring entrepreneurs and especially those individuals who want to venture into entrepreneurship but are clueless where to start.
What makes the Americans and now more recently, the Asians really good, is that they have created a huge pool of venture capital money. Easy to access, cheap and you can have it as patient money, you can have it forever and never have to pay it back. That's why they're building larger institutions. So it is no mistake Jao Mi, a Chinese mobile company that started 5years ago, is now the 3rd largest smartphone company in the world. This here is the ultimate goal to introduce to South Africa.
