Campaign Story
12 climbers from around the world summited Mt. Kilimanjaro on February 2nd to generate awareness about the illegal wildlife trade and the 6th mass extinction while aiming to raise USD$150,000 in total for wildlife and rainforest protection.
Mount Kilimanjaro is the world’s tallest free-standing mountain, with its highest point reaching 19,341 ft. Known as the “Rooftop of Africa,” it is also one of the Seven Summits of the World. It will be a challenging eight-day journey using the Lemosho route to summit Uhuru Peak, battling altitude and five different ecological zones (Cultivation, Rainforest, Heather-Moorland, Alpine Desert, Arctic). The entire trip will be carbon offset and self-funded by the climbers.
This fundraising link is for our Project C:CHANGE projects in HK and the region, including our Walls of Change Street Art festival in 2020, our beach cleanups, our media campaigns on biodiversity loss and the illegal wildlife trade.

Thanks for all your passion & hard efforts to do such a tough climb & for such a great cause. Enjoy & take care. I love wildlife (have adopted 4 Elephants & 2 Rhinos in Kenya) so am glad to be able to support your fund raiser. Look forward to seeing the documentary. Tanzania is my next Africa destination!
