Professional Dance Development in Israel

Hello, my name is Paulina and I am a dance student from Slovakia currently studying and undergraduate program at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London, United Kingdom. My personal dance journey started when I was 5. I have been trained in many different dance styles and studied techniques such as Ballet, Modern dance (Graham, Limón, Cunningham), Street, Jazz, Contemporary and National dances. I have never been thinking that my dream to study dance and perform abroad could ever come true. After successful audition for Dance Journey Program I got an opportunity to study with one of the leading contemporary dance companies in the world, Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company based in Israel.

Kibbutz Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC), hosts a unique 5-month and 10-month international study abroad dance program known as Dance Journey . Open to dancers from 18 years of age and up from around the world, this incredible program provides an outstanding opportunity for professional development while dancing side-by-side with KCDC dancers while learning from one of the leading dance companies in the world. With a faculty composed of some of the best choreographers and teachers throughout Israel, the Dance Journey program includes KCDC repertoire, ballet, modern, contemporary, and a space for participants to create original choreographic work. The program also offers Hebrew classes, tours around Israel, volunteering activities, and more.

As a Slovak citizen studying in London my choices are financially limited. Therefore I decided to try this way of raising money for the first time in my life. I hope I can raise enough for 5-month program (8000 euros) and potentially 10-month program (14 400 euros). I would greatly appreciate any amount you could possibly support me with.
