Help Me Study at a Professional Dance Conservatory

Dear friends and friends of friends!

My name is Markus an I am from Estonia. I have had a dream since I was a kid, which has now developed into my real goal in life: to be a professional choreographer/director. I have been training since I was a small kid and for the past ten years I’ve focused mainly on becoming a creative artist. Since Junior year of High School I’ve been already teaching and giving lessons and throughout that period I’ve already gathered a lot of recognition for my work. After finishing high school, I was accepted into one of the most prestigious dance programs in the US, created by award-winning choreographer Shannon Mather. That was one of the greatest experiences and growth in my dancing technique, seeing teaching qualities and learning from the best of the best. Then COVID happened and I had to come back to Estonia, where I got accepted to Choreography BA in Baltic Film, Media and Arts School, where I am studying currently. I have also my own dance company, which I have been managing for the past four years, which has a lot of international training systems and tricks built-in to train fully versatile dancers. Although I am grateful for everything I’ve achieved so far, I feel I’m drained out of creativity with all of the work. Once, at my lowest, I decided to audition for CLI Conservatory, created by Emmy-nominated Teddy Forance. It took so little time to receive an email notifying that I have a video appointment with the director himself, which turned out to be one of the most emotional talks I have ever had with such a huge choreographer in the industry. The call ended with him congratulating me on getting into the Conservatory, as well as receiving a scholarship. That moment changed everything. I was shocked and unbelievably happy and grateful, because I remembered who I am and why I am doing this. At that moment my life was decided and - I AM GOING BACK TO US.

But there is one obstacle, it is very expensive. This is why I am here writing this - I NEED YOUR HELP. I need to cover my living rent as well flight tickets to travel forth and back, with a total cost of 10 000€.
