Campaign Story
90 days in prison is a long time for a non violent crime. It's long, but not so long that you have to give up your home & well loved dog. It'll be tough being away, but tougher still when you get home. It's been in the paper, people know what you have done. Some will tut, others will think you are stupid.
Many will ask how you can even own a pet if you are going to make mistakes. If you had social anxiety before, this is about to get worse right at the time when your bills are high, your cupboard is bare & any friends you had are frankly tapped out.
This is not a popular cause. There are many people in this position, some vulnerable & many without family support.
If you want to give, please do. I cannot tell you the name of the person I would like to collect for,but will answer what I can if you PM me. The money will be used towards caring for a large dog until his Mum comes home, & any change will be used towards a shop & that stack of bills.
This is not about excusing a crime, it's about adding to a tiny box of tools to help someone move on with their life after they have paid their debt to society. If you don't want to help I fully understand.
