There’s no other way of saying this than The Lehrer needs your help to keep live music going. Since the beginning we’ve been on a rollercoaster ride with many peaks and valleys. Falling behind is way easier than catching up. I’m looking at other avenues of funding and ways to slow the dogs down but they’ll only stay away for so long.
The good news:
Sales from the 1st three months of this year (2018) have gone up 40% from the 1st three months of last year (2017). I think that’s pretty damn good.
Our reputation in the NW has been growing amongst the musicians, bands, promoters, agents and music lovers, as one of the area’s newest and more popular Portland music venues.
We’ve seen a stream of new patrons in the last several months with new faces showing up daily.
Our goal is simple, to catch up and maintain while growing our customer base. Sometimes that’s easier said than done but I refuse to give-up without a fight.
To the naysayers, you may be thinking, wow he sure has a lot of gall. To others that have or had a small business you probably already know what we’re going through. I’m a very proud man and this is a very humbling experience for me. I would not be doing this unless it was absolutely necessary.
So please help keep the music alive at The Lehrer. Share this with your friends and come down and see live music today.
