Premier Run of The Insects

Like all good up-and-coming theatre artists, we are raising money to produce our own work! The Insects is the first play from playwrite, actor, and poet Megan Stratton. Megan (playwrite, co-director, actor) is a recent graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in NYC. Our cast (Christopher Valenti, Danny Beaton, and Madeleine Bohn) are also AADA alumni, and our co-director (Kaleb Sells) and stage manager (Lucas Gomes) are current students at Columbia University.

Performed with two different casts and one gender-swapped production for a total of three unique shows, The Insects is a story of two young adults pursuing their artistic careers while striving for a fulfilling romantic relationship. How does love affect our art? And how does art affect our love?
