Campaign Story
Please help our premature baby Sanwitha's surgery and medical expenses. We are Sudhakar and Triveni currently living in Singapore. We are planned to give birth our second daughter in India and my wife scheduled to travel on June 5th 2016. Unfortunately, she started facing complications early and baby has born naturally and prematurely at 6 months (actual due date in Sep 8th 2016). Sanwitha born premature at 25 weeks and 6 days, weighing only 750 grams at KKH HOSPITAL SINGAPORE on June 1st 2016. Due to premature condition, Doctors strictly advised baby to be treated in Intensive care unit (NICU) at least for next 3 months.
Last Friday, November 4rd 2016, baby had underwent a medical surgery for abdominal infection. Now Baby is under emergency observation and is going through an intensive treatment. To save the baby, she has to be in NICU for at least 90 to 120 days and costs approximately 3000 SGD per day. The hospital has estimated a total treatment and hospital charges of 296,797 SGD (Singapore dollars), which is under exclusion of our health insurance policies. Unfortunately the baby can't even travel to India and we totally struck in here from family without much help and support. I am seeking funds from my family and friends, but the total surgery & hospital charges far reaching.
