In 2008, my wife and I lost our jobs due to the financial crisis. This caused us to have to sell our home and live in cheap, rented accomodation while we lived off our savings and worked as many part time jobs as we could. Our daughter was 13 years old at this time and also living with us.
Just this past year, our savings have finally ran out and we still have not been able to find employment which offered the same salary as pre 2008. Our daughter has just announced to us that she is pregnant and this is an unplanned pregnancy.
Due to our financial situation, we currently cannot contribute towards the costs for the baby and we ask for any help we can get so that we are able to help her with the medical bills, diapers, baby clothes etc.
