Precious moments

Hey.... And thank you for taking time to read our story.  My name is Jaime, and I have three beautiful children aged 6,5 and 3.  nearly a year ago I just up and left my marital home with my children and a car load of belongings effectively making us homeless. our future was so uncertain and I was scared of what may happen but I knew we couldn't live as we had been.  I was taking us away from domestic abuse, away from upset and feeling scared.  At that time we had nowhere to live, I had no money and we were relying on a wonderful friend to house us. our lives fell apart.the children suffered huge emotional trauma, my eldest 2 children suffered night terrors, and even began to display signs of self harm. None of us could sleep properly, and as thier parent I was at a complete loss.  I called anyone I could think of to help me, women's aid, councils, anyone who I thought could help and the answer was always the same.  When I explained that I wanted to carry on working full time and not claim benefits any offer of help was withdrawn and I was told that I would then incur massive cost in order to access anything. i have remained so focused on providing a house and happy environment to my children as I did not want to live our lives on government benefits that I am so happy to say that I have achieved this, however it has come at a cost. i have had to work extremely long hours, and the children have had to cope without me being around as much as I would have wanted to. They have continually shown strength and resilience even at such A young age and I would love the chance for us to go to jamaica, where they have half their roots and show them the other half of them. I have managed to stop us from living on the bread line and I would love the chance to start our next year together with positivity, fulfilled with precious moments and time for us to be together as a family after such a terribly stressful and emotional time.   any donations to our cause would be very much appreciated and I would thank you for helping to rebuild our lives in such a positive way......   thankyou
